The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo
By Amy Schumer
Thanks
Amy for telling it like it is, thanks for being a strong willed, strong assed
woman that has the goods to deliver funny! Your book was entertaining,
heartfelt and I really enjoyed reading it.
Your story was fascinating, how you grew up to became the
woman you are today.
Amy’s
story gives a good idea on how she grew into the funny, smart, clever
entertaining woman she is. Just how hard
she worked to be where she is today. How hard life as a comedian can be from
starting with a joke and making it as a stand up to a writer to being in a
movie she wrote and starred in.
This book is very light-hearted and comedic, but I must add that reading about the domestic violence that was a small part of her life was so awakening. The way she describes how it happened, I now realise how it does happen to anyone, absolutely anyone who is unlucky enough to fall in love with just the wrong person. I believe it doesn’t matter how confident you are, or your back ground, I think if you meet the wrong person and they end up mentally abusing you, you need the power from deep within to just leave that situation and
On a brighter note. If you are after a good book that will
keep you grounded and make you laugh read this book. On a last note I would just like to say also
that Amy Schumer is trying to make a difference for gun violence in America and
all her hard work is hopefully appreciated as she is in a great position to
stand and make a difference even if it’s a small one, it would count. So thanks
for making us laugh Amy Schumer.
